Unity in the Community: Diminishing Division and Creating Collaboration for Impactful Solutions
Between 2016 and 2017, NCCU School of Law hosted a three-part series called “Unity in the Community.” Unity in the Community was a dynamic, serious dialogue between a panel of leaders in law enforcement, along with a diverse group of the community at large, regarding current tensions between the police and communities of color.
This all day event is free! Registration includes event participation and all meals and snack service, including breakfast, lunch and light evening reception. Participants of all backgrounds are not only welcome but are necessary to the substance and potential impact of this event. No prior technology experience is required.
