Library of Congress internship opportunity with roots in NDSR

Today the Library of Congress is pleased to announce a new internship opportunity, which leverages the agency’s participation in the National Digital Stewardship Residency program from 2013-2017. The Library is very proud of the results of its collaboration with IMLS, and is working through the questions of what a residency that is solely supported by the Library looks like. This summer the Library will pilot a Cultural Sustainability Internship for 10 weeks, and welcomes applications from qualified master and doctoral students. This unique opportunity will offer hands-on experience with and exposure to 21st-century preservation issues facing cultural heritage institutions with a mission to sustain long-term, durable access to their collections.
