Post-Master’s Certificate in Digital Librarianship (24 hours)

The Post-Master’s Certificate in Digital Librarianship is designed to meet the growing demand for digital librarians and digital libraries. The program is intended for those who have earned a master’s degree in library and information sciences or related disciplines. This program is an 8-course (24 hours credit) program. Courses focus on designing digital library interfaces, organizing and accessing digital collections, and using appropriate and cutting-edge technologies. It provides a solid foundation on digital information management and its related technologies, standards, practices, policies, and use for students who are seeking new careers in or want to improve their skills and knowledge of digital archives, digital libraries, and other kinds of digital collections.

Students who have already completed the digital librarianship concentration in the Master’s of Library Science (MLS) program are not eligible for this certificate.
