  • Where can I find things like the last day to withdraw from a class, the date of the foreign language exam, etc.?The latest NCCU calendars are available at http://webevent.nccu.edu/EventList.aspx.
  • Does NCCU have an ombudsman who can help students “cut through” the bureaucracy?Yes. NCCU now has an ombudsman whose job is to help resolve student problems with the bureaucracy. Her name is Valerie Prince, and her phone number is 919-530-6342. Her email address is vprince@nccu.edu. Those of you who are having problems with the University bureaucracy should give her a try.
  • Does NCCU participate in the Academic Common Market? Are applicants from other states considered “in-state” for tuition purposes?Yes, NCCU does participate in the Academic Common Market. Residents of states that also participate in the Academic Common Market are considered “in-state” for tuition purposes but only if they are attending the on-campus program at NCCU. In other words, the Academic Common Market does not apply to distance education students.
