POSITION: OUTREACH & COMMUNICATIONS LIBRARIAN
The Gumberg Library at Duquesne University invites applications for a 12-month non-tenure track library faculty appointment as Outreach & Communications Librarian beginning July 1, 2016. The Outreach & Communications Librarian coordinates strategic development of library marketing and communication initiatives. Supports Duquesne University’s mission by promoting user engagement with library collections, services and programs through print and digital communications. Collaborates with librarians and campus partners to develop, deliver, integrate and assess the impact of library messages and branding. Meets the criteria for the library faculty promotion process at the level of Librarian II within three years of appointment, which entails the fulfillment of professional responsibilities, scholarship, and service. Initial rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Starting salary begins in the low $50s.
